Our support workers will support you to connect with the community whether it’s shopping, attending events, or enjoying hobbies.
At Supportr, we support you in engaging within your community in many ways
- Explore community activities to find ones that are suitably accessible
- Build independence through accessing social activities
- Can support to find local sporting organisation’s and take part in local sports events
- Assist with community-based tasks such as groceries, doctors’ appointments and family visits
- Support you to stay in touch with family and friends
Daily Living Support
At Supportr, out staff are trained to work in all support environments. If you require support for your daily living activities, Supportr staff will always be there to help.
Supportr staff are there to help with:
- Daily hygiene assistance, things such as brushing your hair, brushing your teeth or even shaving
- Support you to prepare meals
- Mobility support including things such as hoisting
- We can help you with budgeting, understanding day to day living expenses
Group Activities
Build friendships and skills in a fun, supportive setting. From art classes to group outings, we create inclusive spaces for shared experiences.
Supportr staff will support groups with things such as:
- Trivia nights
- Art classes
- Identifying and finding local group activities
