Edens Landing is a residential suburb in the City of Logan, on the south side of the Logan River about three kilometres north-west of Beenleigh and 30 kilometres south-east of central Brisbane. Developed as residential estates from the mid-1980s, it is a settled, family-oriented suburb bordered by Bethania, Holmview, Loganlea, Waterford and Loganholme. The suburb was named after early settler Henry Eden, who ran a ferry service on the Logan River in the 1860s.
For people living with disability, Edens Landing is one of the better-connected suburbs in the region. Edens Landing railway station, a park-and-ride stop on the Beenleigh line, provides direct train services towards Brisbane and the Gold Coast, and local roads connect easily to Beenleigh and surrounding centres. The suburb is also close to Logan Hospital at Meadowbrook, with schools, shops and allied health in neighbouring suburbs supporting independent living.
Supportr provides NDIS support in Edens Landing with a consistent, small team so participants always work with familiar people. Continuity is central to how we work, letting support workers understand each participant's routines, preferences and goals over time. We coordinate flexibly around train timetables, appointments and family life, keeping support simple and steady from one week to the next.
