NDIS Provider on the Gold Coast

Supportr is an NDIS provider delivering disability support services across the Gold Coast, from Coomera and Upper Coomera in the north to Coolangatta at the southern border. Supportr is not currently a registered NDIS provider, which means we work with self-managed and plan-managed participants; we cannot accept NDIA-managed funding. Every participant is matched with a small, consistent team of two to three support workers, delivering social and community support, daily living support, in-home support and group activities on a schedule built around your life. If you are comparing NDIS providers on the Gold Coast, book a free consultation to see how a familiar team could work for you.

Why Choose Supportr on the Gold Coast

Choosing between NDIS providers on the Gold Coast comes down to trust and consistency, and that is exactly what Supportr has spent years building. Every participant gets a small team of two to three support workers for the long term, not a rotating roster from a call centre.

Consistent team

We assign two to three team members to every Gold Coast participant and keep that team consistent. The same people turn up each visit, learn your routine and understand how you like things done.

Flexible scheduling

Support is available mornings, evenings, weekdays and weekends across the Gold Coast. We build a schedule around your life, whether that means an early start before work or weekend support for community outings.

Local knowledge

Our Gold Coast teams know the suburbs they work in, from the light rail stops along the Surfers Paradise strip to the parks around Robina and the beachfront paths at Burleigh Heads. That local knowledge makes outings run more smoothly.

Free consultation

Getting started costs nothing. We talk through your goals, your NDIS plan and what support should look like, with no obligation and no lock-in contract.

Our NDIS Support Services on the Gold Coast

Supportr delivers four core NDIS services to participants across the Gold Coast, each provided by the same familiar team. Here is what each one covers and how it works day to day.

Social & community support

Social and community support helps you get out into Gold Coast life, whether that is catching up with friends at Pacific Fair, attending appointments in Southport, or walking the Burleigh Heads foreshore. Your support worker comes along as a familiar face, not a stranger, so outings feel comfortable rather than clinical. For guidance on choosing an NDIS provider, see our blog.

Daily living support

Daily living support covers the everyday tasks that keep life running smoothly: personal care, showering and dressing, meal preparation, and medication prompts. Because the same two or three team members visit each time, mornings and evenings run more smoothly and nobody has to re-explain their routine to a new face every visit.

In-home support

In-home support keeps your Gold Coast home clean, organised and safe, covering cleaning, laundry, grocery shopping and light garden tasks. This support lets you spend your energy on the things that matter to you and can help you keep living independently in your own home for longer. Group activities

Group activities bring participants together in small, supported groups for art, fitness, cooking or social outings at venues across the Gold Coast, from Broadbeach to Robina. Every group stays small enough that you still get genuine one-on-one attention from your support worker, while building friendships and confidence alongside other participants.

Gold Coast Suburbs We Support

Supportr provides NDIS support in more than 35 suburbs across the Gold Coast, from northern growth corridors like Pimpama and Coomera through to Coolangatta at the Queensland border. Find your suburb below; if it is not listed, call us on (07) 3184 4445, because our coverage keeps growing. We also cover Brisbane, Ipswich and the wider South East Queensland region.

How Funding Works With Us

Supportr is not currently a registered NDIS provider on the Gold Coast, and we say so plainly because it affects who can work with us. Being unregistered is a deliberate choice. It lets us focus on flexible, highly personalised support instead of the compliance overhead that comes with formal registration. Self-managed and plan-managed participants are welcome and make up everyone we support on the Gold Coast. NDIA-managed, also called agency-managed, participants cannot use Supportr, because that funding type requires a registered provider. If you are unsure which category applies to your plan, your plan manager or the NDIS can confirm it. You can read more on plan types on our NDIS information page, or see our guide to registered vs unregistered NDIS providers.

Self-managed

You manage your own NDIS funding and pay providers directly. As a self-managed participant, you can choose Supportr for support anywhere on the Gold Coast.

How self-management works →

Plan-managed

A registered plan manager handles your payments on your behalf. Plan managers can pay unregistered providers, so you can still choose Supportr for your Gold Coast support.

NDIA-managed

Also called agency-managed. The NDIA pays providers directly under this plan type, and only registered providers can be used. Supportr is not available to NDIA-managed participants.

FAQs

No, Supportr is not currently a registered NDIS provider. This is a deliberate choice that lets us stay flexible and offer highly personalised support across the Gold Coast, rather than working within the compliance requirements that apply to registered providers. Because we are unregistered, we work with self-managed and plan-managed participants and cannot accept NDIA-managed (agency-managed) funding. If you are unsure which category applies to you, your plan manager or the NDIS can confirm it.

Yes, Supportr welcomes both plan-managed and self-managed NDIS participants across the Gold Coast. If a plan manager handles your payments, you can still choose Supportr, because plan managers can pay unregistered providers. If you manage your own funding, you can engage us directly. The only funding type we cannot accept is NDIA-managed, also called agency-managed, funding, because that requires a registered provider.
