NDIS provider in Logan

Supportr is an NDIS disability support provider for participants across the City of Logan, from Beenleigh and Woodridge to Browns Plains and Jimboomba. We offer daily living, social and community, and in-home support, with group activities back in 2027. Supportr is not currently a registered NDIS provider, so we work with self-managed and plan-managed participants.

Why Choose Supportr in Logan

Choosing between NDIS providers in Logan often comes down to trust and consistency. Every participant gets a small team of two to three support workers, not a rotating roster from a call centre. Our postal address is in Beenleigh, so Logan is close to home for us.

Consistent team

We assign two to three team members to every Logan participant and keep that team consistent. The same people turn up each visit, learn your routine and understand how you like things done.

Flexible scheduling

Support is available mornings, evenings, weekdays and weekends across Logan. We build a schedule around your life, whether that means an early start before work or weekend support.

Local knowledge

Logan is a large, spread-out council area, from the established suburbs around Woodridge and Springwood to the growth areas around Yarrabilba and Flagstone. Our teams plan routes and outings around how people really get about.

Free consultation

Getting started costs nothing. We talk through your goals, your NDIS plan and what support should look like, with no obligation and no lock-in contract.

Daily living support

How Funding Works With Us

Supportr is not currently a registered NDIS provider, so we work with self-managed and plan-managed participants. NDIA-managed, also called agency-managed, participants cannot use Supportr, because that funding type requires a registered provider. If you are unsure which category applies to your plan, your plan manager or the NDIS can confirm it. Our guide to self-managed vs plan-managed NDIS explains the difference, and our NDIS information page covers plan types.

Self-managed

You manage your own NDIS funding and pay providers directly. As a self-managed participant, you can choose Supportr for support anywhere in Logan.

How self-management works →

Plan-managed

A registered plan manager handles your payments on your behalf. Plan managers can pay unregistered providers, so you can still choose Supportr for your Logan support.

How plan management works →

NDIA-managed

Also called agency-managed. The NDIA pays providers directly under this plan type, and only registered providers can be used. Supportr is not available to NDIA-managed participants.

How do I choose an NDIS provider in Logan?

Start with the practical questions: does the provider work with your plan type, who will actually turn up, and what will it cost you in writing. Use this checklist when you compare NDIS providers in Logan, including us.

  • Plan type. Ask whether the provider can work with your funding. Registered providers can work with NDIA-managed plans. Supportr is not currently a registered NDIS provider, so we work with self-managed and plan-managed participants only.
  • The same people each visit. Ask how many different workers you are likely to meet, and what happens when someone is away.
  • Prices in writing. Check rates against the NDIS price limits for the support category, and ask what applies to short-notice cancellations.
  • Suits your week. Confirm the days, times and areas of Logan the provider can cover, including evenings and weekends if you need them.
  • A clear service agreement. Read the notice period and how changes are made. You should be able to adjust or end support without a lock-in contract.
  • Worker screening. Ask how the provider checks that every worker holds a current NDIS Worker Screening clearance.

Where can a support worker help me get to in Logan?

A support worker can come with you to appointments, shops and outings across the council area, funded from your plan where it fits your goals. These are well-known places and services participants often plan around.

Health appointments

Logan Hospital at Meadowbrook is the main public hospital for the area, and many people also see GPs and allied health providers close to home in Logan Central, Springwood, Beenleigh and Browns Plains.

Public transport

Trains on the Beenleigh line stop at Woodridge, Kingston, Loganlea, Bethania, Edens Landing, Holmview and Beenleigh, and the Gold Coast line carries on south from Beenleigh. Translink buses connect the rest of the council area, including Springwood Bus Station. A support worker can help you plan a trip and practise a route until it feels easy.

Shopping, libraries and community venues

Logan Hyperdome at Shailer Park and Grand Plaza at Browns Plains are two of the larger shopping centres. Logan City Council runs a library network, including the library at Logan Central, and the Logan Entertainment Centre and Logan Art Gallery are both in Logan Central. Daisy Hill Conservation Park is a popular spot for a gentle walk.
